Amanda is a graduate of Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is thrilled to be a part of the Willow team working with Dr. Jakatdar as a Research Assistant. Outside of this role, Amanda works as a milieu counselor in residential mental health rehabilitation programs. Her goal is to utilize her clinical and research experience to eventually pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology. Amanda is a Washington, DC area native and has moved all over the country as a military spouse, having lived in six states over the past 15 years. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, swimming, eating diverse cuisine, and traveling with her husband and dog.
