Nora Huey, BA
Doctoral Trainee


Nora is in the third year of her doctoral training at University of San Francisco. Nora has a passion for providing integrated care and evidence-based treatments like CBT and ERP that are based in research. She is especially interested in working with OC spectrum disorders and anxiety disorders. Nora likes working with children, teens, and adults. She takes a warm, compassionate, and empathetic approach to therapy. Nora believes that therapeutic change occurs through creating a safe, accepting, and supportive environment where both client and therapist can work together to make meaningful and long-lasting improvements. Nora is trained and supervised by Dr. Jakatdar.


Outside of her work at Willow, Nora works is involved with research examining treatment interventions for stress-related mental health conditions at UCSF and the VA Medical Center. She is currently working on a research project looking at the medical underpinnings of stress-related psychopathology, with the goal of developing novel treatment interventions for serious mental health conditions. She has also co-authored several papers, publications, and presented her findings at nationwide conventions. In addition to this, she has served as a crisis line counselor for suicidal adults.
